Welcome to Little Explorers Learning Center! We are so glad that you will be joining our Childcare & Preschool Center. At Little Explorers Learning Center we strive to uphold morals and values, build character and self-esteem, and embrace individuality. The center is split into three individual classrooms Infant, Toddler, and Preschool/School age. At Little Explorers Learning Center we believe that having a developmentally appropriate program is important and use Christian principles to guide our activities as well. We believe that children can learn in a variety of ways. These include physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and creative. We Learn through PLAY! Since there are so many ways to learn, we strive to provide resources and activities that will meet the needs of each child’s individual stage. Social interactions are encouraged between children and with staff, allowing friendships to develop. We believe in having a balance of child-directed and teacher-directed activities. The teachers support children in becoming better at problem-solving and making choices. In addition, we encourage and model appropriate ways to express feelings.
