We are open year round, including snow days in the winter months
We are closed the following days: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day (the last Monday in May), July 4th, Labor Day (the first Monday in September), Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday), and The week of Christmas in December. Our preschool program is in session September – end of May/1st week of June.
Classrooms
We offer four classrooms, separated into the following age groups:
Preschool/School Age Room: Ages 3 years to 12 years of age 1:10 ratio/max 20
Infant Room: In this room, the schedule consists of napping, diapering, feeding, and floor time. Infants are fed when they are hungry and sleep when they are tired. We provide floor space for infants to play, move and socialize. We provide toys created to be safe and developmentally appropriate for infants. Staff and infant interaction is continuous and simultaneous with every part of care provided during their time in our center.
Toddler Room: In this room, we provide small age appropriate toys, books, and activities to help foster each child’s curiosity and creativity.
Preschool Room: The classroom environment provides choices and many different materials through mostly hands-on learning centers. The children participate in both large group and small group activities for a variety of learning experiences.
School-Age Room: Within this room, we provide games and activities for the children. We also provide time for children to do their homework, with teachers who are willing to help. This room is only used for full days during the summer and during breaks from school, but we do provide before and after school care in the room(s) with the younger children.
